Sala Peacock Elite Professional Sombaty Darbuka

An intricate design. A refined playing experience. The Sala Peacock Elite Professional Darbuka brings together a newly developed body structure, a more rounded upper profile, and an elaborate peacock design in a premium instrument built for expressive performance.

Created for professional percussionists and dedicated players, the Peacock Elite combines attention to sound, playing comfort, and visual detail—on stage, in the studio, and during everyday practice.

Signature Peacock Design

An intricate peacock motif unfolds across a shimmering white mosaic background, surrounded by floral details and turquoise, green, blue, and gold-toned accents. Decorative borders complete the design, giving the Peacock Elite a distinctive appearance from every angle.

Refined Body Structure for Resonance & Clarity

The Peacock Elite features a newly developed body structure designed to enhance resonance and sound clarity. Its acoustic design supports the contrast at the heart of darbuka playing: full, resonant “Dum” bass strokes and crisp, articulate “Tek” and “Ka” tones.

From steady rhythms to detailed fingerwork, the emphasis is on a clear, expressive sound that preserves the character of each stroke.

A More Comfortable Upper Profile

The more curved upper section provides a smoother contact area for the hands, supporting comfortable positioning and fluid movement between playing techniques.

This refined profile puts playing comfort alongside sound and appearance, making it a defining feature of the Peacock Elite’s design.

Smoothly Finished, Inside and Out

The attention to detail continues inside the instrument. A smooth, glossy interior finish complements the polished exterior and forms part of a design focused on resonance and sound projection.

Together, the refined body structure, curved upper profile, and carefully finished interior distinguish the Peacock Elite as a premium model in the Sala darbuka collection.
