Arabic Electric Oud AOS-101G-A

My Electric Arabic oud came packed very well, no perceived damage. All items included was as described. Only issue I have is with 2 of the 11 tuners that I’m not about their ability to keep strings in tune. Of course, traveling half way around the world to a different climate the Oud strings may take time to stabilize. The included tuner works better than I thought it would. This is the first Oud that I have ever owned and for a beginner I believe that I made the right choice. The instrument sounds good when amplified and will be perfect as I experiment with playing western and Latin style music in conjunction with Maqams that I will learn. I will definitely purchase from Sala Musik again. Mark from ??

It comes with sound system box or we have to buy that separately? Also can play it and sounds good with out using the sound system?

No, it does not come with an ampliefer. It does not have sound when playing without amplifier

Good Night,
I have been looking at this Arabic Electric Oud AOS-101G-A and the Professional Arabic Electric Oud OUDE EA5.
What would you say are the pros and cons to both?
I am a guitarist and a beginner oud player, who would like to get into a deeper knowledge of the oud instrument but use the oud in a fusion solo live set, going between my guitar and the oud and utilising backing tracks or looping..

Hello,

you can play EA5 acoustic and electric. But AOS-101G-A is possible only for Electric.

If you want an acoustic sound also, I recommend EA5
